The Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) was founded in 1991 as a public benefit nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) that has for more than a decade served, targeting the Samoan and Pacific-Islander communities in the Viscitacion, Bayveiw Hunters Point, and other regions within the City and County of San Francisco. :: more

Community Outreach at it's best in Oakland, Ca 1st Annual Pacific Region Benefit Dinner

The Epenesa O Samoa, even though it is under the umberlla of SCDC, elects its own officers, consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. It conducts its own meetings, and has the right to design its own programs within the parameters set forth in the bylaws with the approval of the Board of Directors. :: more

Community Services
SCDC provides a safe place and a healthy environment at their Multipurpose Hall where seniors meet, socialize, play bingos / cards, exercise, create traiditional artwork, sew, participate in educational workshops and receive assistance from staff. In addition, seniors also recieve assistance with affordable housing, immigration and legal issues, health care as well as counseling, court advocacy and translation / interpretation.:: more
